Yes. I'm deeply moved by larger-than-life historical figures, heart-wrenching music, and stories so stunning it’s hard to believe they weren’t secretly implanted here by some superior, otherworldly beings. But I'm here to tell you — it's the sincere, genuine support of my readers that often inspires me to keep writing. Few things in my writing life make me spring to action like these two lines:
"I'm already counting down the days until the next installment in this breathtaking story. Bell, keep writing with this magical vibe – you've got a fan for life!"
In case you're wondering, this is from an actual Amazon review of my book. And I know it may not seem like much, but when I read it, all I wanted to do was write as many incredible books as I can in the time allotted me in this life. I wanted them to be perfect, and breathtaking, and magical! And then — after I’d calmed down a bit — I hid in my little writing nook and wrote for seven hours straight.
